What happens when you blend up doctrines of salvation? Sadly, a false mess!

ORIGINAL STATEMENT:

Here is a question: If a Jew comes to your church will you tell him what Peter commanded in Acts 2:38,39 or tell him something else. Remember you said Peter’ doctrine was only for the Jews. Another thing if a non-Jew comes into you church do you tell him what Peter commands the gentiles in Acts 10:48 or would you tell him something else?

CORRECTION:

If a Jew comes to your church, will you tell him what Peter commanded in Acts 2:38,39 or tell him something else?

No. I’d tell him Paul’s gospel. Why? Because Peter’s gospel in Acts, although 100% valid and accurate, was for the Kingdom program, under prophecy. God suspended this program (Rom 11:25) when He called Paul. Thus, the Kingdom program hangs in limbo until God reactivates it again when the 7-year Tribulation begins (after the rapture of the Body of Christ).

Only the Grace program is active today and both Jews and Gentiles are saved by grace according to the gospel of Paul (1Cor 15:1–4). Peter NEVER preached the cross for salvation. The Kingdom gospel requires repentance, water baptism and receiving the Holy Spirit. The grace gospel does not require these things. All it asks is that one believe in Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross for you. By faith alone in His cross-work, without additional works, one is justified and atoned before God. (Read Rom. chapters 4 and 5; Eph 2:8-9).

Another thing if a non-Jew comes into your church, do you tell him what Peter commands the Gentiles in Acts 10:48 or would you tell him something else?

No. I’d tell him what Paul taught. Why? Because only Paul’s gospel is valid and in effect today. Peter’s gospel is in suspension because God has blinded the Jews and started a new dispensation of grace through Paul, 2Cor 5:16-17. Both Jews and Gentiles are saved the same way today, by God’s grace through faith alone in the cross of Christ. If I taught Peter’s gospel, I’d be teaching doctrine that is not in effect today and the recipient would not be saved as I did not communicate the cross to him.

We must understand that rightly dividing the scriptures between prophecy (Israel) and mystery (Body of Christ) is of paramount importance today. If we ignore Paul’s doctrine, we are preaching in vain as God is not operating in prophecy and in the Kingdom program today.
