Where did Jesus go after His resurrection and ascension?

Image
By using the content of the New Testament, we can trace where Jesus has been since His resurrection, and how He will return at the end of the ages. After Resurrection Jesus was in a glorified body for 40 days in Jerusalem, appearing to His inner group of friends, disciples and eventually to many people, Mary Magdalene, John 20:14-16 Mary The Mother Of James, Salome, And Joanna, Matthew 28:9 Peter, Luke 24:34 Two Disciples On The Emmaus Road, Luke 24:13-16 The Disciples, John 20:26-28 Over Five Hundred People, 1 Corinthians 15:6 James, 1 Corinthians 15:7 After He Ascended After Jesus ascended, He remained in a position “in the clouds”. Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. This position is in a spiritual context. A cloud of glory hid Jesus from the sight of the disciples, but Jesus remained in this ‘invisible’ position in the clouds of glory due to two reasons, (1) If Israel were to believe the test...

Will we meet Jesus in the clouds at our pre-tribulation rapture?

Image
The Bible is very clear that Jesus will appear in the clouds at the END of the 7-years of Tribulation . Read the following verses carefully: Revelation 1:5-7; Daniel 7:13-14; Matthew 24:29-31; Matthew 26:64; Mark 13:24-27; Luke 21:25-27. When Jesus appears in the clouds, it will be for the following reasons, To save the remnant of Israel in the wilderness To destroy the kingdom of the Antichrist To judge the false prophet, the Antichrist and cast Satan into the pit for 1000-years To judge the Gentile nations (aka, the sheep and goats judgement) To set up His Millennial Kingdom Since the above list of events is clearly presented in the Bible and synonymous with Christ's second coming, at the END of the 7-year tribulation , it is surprising that so many 'pre-tribulation' believing Christians think that the rapture of the Body of Christ will occur with Jesus appearing in the clouds. Now, just to make sure you und...

How will the Body of Christ be raptured?

Image
Throughout the epistles of Paul, the Body of Christ is illustrated as a 'mystery'. Though this agency was always part of God's great redemption plan, it only came about through the ministry of Paul and due to the unbelief of Israel, who, through the Old Testament and the Gospels, was the vehicle of God to bring salvation unto the Gentiles. The Body of Christ, and salvation for the Gentiles through Israel's fall, was never prophesied in the Bible and it is why Paul refers to this Grace program as a mystery.  It is this very point of 'mystery' that brings me to the conviction that the catching away of the Body of Christ will be silent, without any visible and audible signs in the earth, with no trumpet blasts, no graves being opened and the dead rising up to meet the Lord in the clouds, according to 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. Our rapture will be uneventful and in secret and will be the primary instigator of confusion amongst unbelievers, contributing to delusions an...
