If 1Jn3:8 is true, then it appears Jesus failed his mission.

STATEMENT: Christians are baptized and therefore they have the holy spirit, the father and the son (trinity) but their hearts are rotten, minds and hearts are corrupt and useless. So, Jesus who talked about baptism lied to the world because anybody who has a bad heart will follow Jesus and his father the serpent to the underworld. 1John 3:8 says that he son of God came to destroy the serpent and all his works, but the devil is still tormenting the world. Therefore, Jesus' death and resurrection was useless. ANSWER: The first advent of Jesus was to die for us, taking upon Himself the sins of the world. Although Satan still is the god of this world, Jesus defeated the works of the devil by opening up a way for us to be reconciled with God if we choose to believe in Him. So, the first part of the destruction of Satan is done. This is why the Bible tells us we live by faith today, because in order to be safe from the wrath of God when Jesus comes again, we must believe in Him today. Th...

What is your take on Rapture: The Second Coming of Christ?

Image
Answer Request: What is your take on Rapture: The Second Coming of Christ? The rapture and the second coming of Christ are two separate events that make up the WHOLE 7-year return of Jesus Christ in the end times. The Rapture This is the catching away of the people who make up the ‘Body of Christ’, that is, the people who have responded in faith to the grace gospel; trusting in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the atoning work for their right standing before God. This event happens before the signing of the peace treaty by the antichrist with Israel, which initiates the 7-year period of prophesied Tribulation. This event is ‘silent’. There is no fanfare attached to it! No trumpet sound, no graves opening and people being resurrected, no visible meeting the Lord in the clouds. All these visible events happen at the mid-point of the tribulation when Jesus actually appears in the clouds and another resurrection and rapture occurs. Remember, the body of...

Why are most Christians so focused on the clouds?

Image
This in not a rant! This is not even a bible lesson! The information below is simply a range of thought-provoking questions that I want to ask (and answer) as a statement of reflection!  What is it with the clouds? Why do most Christians today think they will meet Jesus in the clouds at the rapture? I'm open to be corrected, but from my understanding, and how I read the scriptures, Jesus only comes in the clouds near the END of the 7-year tribulation . I don't think Jesus is going to come down from heaven and appear in the clouds with a shout and a trumpet blast to rapture the Body of Christ, and then come at the end of the tribulation to appear in the clouds again. No! As far as I can see, Jesus only comes in the clouds ONCE, and that is near the END of the tribulation! Let's look at some verses that speak about the Lord appearing in the clouds. Can you honestly say that this is in reference to the rapture of the Body of Christ BEFORE to tribulation? Daniel 7:13-14 I saw i...

Will we meet Jesus in the clouds at our pre-tribulation rapture?

Image
The Bible is very clear that Jesus will appear in the clouds at the END of the 7-years of Tribulation . Read the following verses carefully: Revelation 1:5-7; Daniel 7:13-14; Matthew 24:29-31; Matthew 26:64; Mark 13:24-27; Luke 21:25-27. When Jesus appears in the clouds, it will be for the following reasons, To save the remnant of Israel in the wilderness To destroy the kingdom of the Antichrist To judge the false prophet, the Antichrist and cast Satan into the pit for 1000-years To judge the Gentile nations (aka, the sheep and goats judgement) To set up His Millennial Kingdom Since the above list of events is clearly presented in the Bible and synonymous with Christ's second coming, at the END of the 7-year tribulation , it is surprising that so many 'pre-tribulation' believing Christians think that the rapture of the Body of Christ will occur with Jesus appearing in the clouds. Now, just to make sure you und...

How will the Body of Christ be raptured?

Image
Throughout the epistles of Paul, the Body of Christ is illustrated as a 'mystery'. Though this agency was always part of God's great redemption plan, it only came about through the ministry of Paul and due to the unbelief of Israel, who, through the Old Testament and the Gospels, was the vehicle of God to bring salvation unto the Gentiles. The Body of Christ, and salvation for the Gentiles through Israel's fall, was never prophesied in the Bible and it is why Paul refers to this Grace program as a mystery.  It is this very point of 'mystery' that brings me to the conviction that the catching away of the Body of Christ will be silent, without any visible and audible signs in the earth, with no trumpet blasts, no graves being opened and the dead rising up to meet the Lord in the clouds, according to 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. Our rapture will be uneventful and in secret and will be the primary instigator of confusion amongst unbelievers, contributing to delusions an...
