Did Paul preach a different gospel to Jesus and the 12?

Image
The following are some responses to the previous post uploaded concerning Paul's "my gospel" and rightly dividing the Word. If one does not rightly divide the Word, it will become confusing, as is evident in this person's comments. The comments are all directly related to mixing up the Kingdom and Grace doctrines. It is not only sad to see such confusion, but it is dangerous to spread such false doctrine because anyone out there who is uninformed about sound doctrine will believe it and get all twisted up in confusion and contradiction too. We are to STUDY the Word for ourselves, not rely on things we have learned from preachers, or books, or YouTube. Our ONLY source of truth in the King James Bible. Read it, cross reference scripture, learn its true context, and be edified by it alone. If you find content outside of the Bible, don't believe it until you have searched the scriptures yourself.  COMMENT: If Paul was really preaching another gospel, then how could h...

Where was Jesus? When did God create the universe?

Image
If you read John 1 carefully, you will see that Jesus was the one creating the universe. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. ... 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Similarly, in Colossians, Paul confirms this fact, Col.1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principaliti...

Will our justification in Christ prevent us from terror and dishonour at the Judgement Seat of Christ?

Image
Statement on Social Media: To suggest that believers will face dishonor or shame at Christ's judgment seat, one would have to misinterpret many of Paul's declarations about justification and our status as heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. The wood, hay, and stubble that will be consumed represent the fleshly works, which all true believers will gladly discard.  The judgment seat of Christ is a time solely for rejoicing and celebration, akin to a birthday party for every believer. There, we will shed all unwanted things and receive the rewards and crowns that Christ has merited for us as co-heirs and children of God. It is a ceremony of celebration, devoid of any shame or dishonor. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” (Eph 1:3) “and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,” (Eph 2:6) “giving thanks to the Father who has qualified...

How do we hear God's voice and walk in righteousness?

Image
The following discourse is commentary from a social media site based on reactions to one of my posts. The main context of this Q&A is concerning hearing God's voice and walking in righteousness. There are some important lessons to learn regarding how we hear God's voice and how we walk according to the Spirit and not according to our own 'works' or efforts. Questions or comments in the post are bulleted. "John 10 says “My sheep hear my voice and follow me.” Do you hear his voice and obey him?" The only way to 'hear' His voice is through the written word of God. It is the word of God within you, acquired through reading and studying it and gaining understanding in it that embeds God's Spirit within you. Jesus says in Jn6:63, "the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." So, to get God's Spirit in you, you need to get into the written Word of God and get it into you. It is through the knowledge and underst...
