Is it a bad thing to die with sin in your life?

Our very flesh nature is tainted with sin. We are born sinners and born into a corrupt sinful world. With this said, our flesh will die with sin and in sin. I tend to put it this way; Our flesh is so corrupt that God choose not to fix it but to replace it!

Now let me give you the other side of the facts. When we get saved by responding to the grace gospel, though our flesh remains corrupt and sinful, our spirit is regenerated. Our spirit is utterly saved and sanctified. Positionally, we stand before God utterly clean, sinless, righteous and blameless. We are clothed with the righteousness of Christ. When our flesh dies, sin dies with it. As a matter of fact, Paul tells us that our salvation is so complete that while we are alive, we are already dead to sin (Rom.6). What this means is that in the eyes of God, He does not see our sin, all he sees is the righteousness of Jesus Christ upon us.

So, the answer to your question is "No". It is not bad to die with sin because we are ALREADY dead to sin.

With this established, it remains to be said that the above does not give us license to sin!!!!

Romans 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

As believers, the Holy Spirit will lead us into a slow, but ever increasing walk of sanctification. We need to renew our minds with God's Word, and we need to learn to walk in the Spirit so that He can lead us into bringing glory to God in our lives. (This is not works! We do not need to earn our way with works!!) Our lives, by the lead of the Holy Spirit will naturally increase in holiness and devotion to God as our mind is renewed and our spirit grows closer to God in relationship. Our flesh will NEVER be saved from corruption! Our flesh is desperately sick and wicked in sin (Jeremiah 17:9), but the Holy Spirit will lead us into increasing holiness as we walk with Him. At the end of our lives, or at the catching away of the Body of Christ, we will finally get a new, glorified body that will never be subject to sin and corruption again!

Praise God!!!
