What will happen if you are saved but you choose to live it up in the world?

Image
QUESTION: Let's say a person hears and responds to the gospel of grace and believes in Jesus. Justification takes place the moment the get saved. However, the remain a babe in Christ as they never renew their mind to the will and ways of God. They remain weak in spirit and their flesh continues to control their thoughts and actions. What will happen to people like this when they die or when the rapture happens? ANSWER: You need to understand that justification is not something that occurs in the flesh. It is a positional status that God declares over you when you believe in Christ, Rom.7. Your flesh is not justified. That is why your flesh will be dissolved (in death or the rapture). Your flesh is unsalvageable. It is corrupt and vile, and it must be done away with. Your spirit is justified at salvation, and this verdict cannot be changed irrespective of your choices on earth, Rom.8:1. What should happen on earth is the following: If you chose to follow God’s word, you will mortify...

Do we follow Jesus or Paul today?

Image
QUESTION: Are you advising we follow Paul because he was sent to preach to the gentiles and disregard Jesus because His preaching was for the Jews? Are you saying Jesus' teachings and commands were not written for our doctrines and practice? ANSWER: Jesus’ earthly ministry was ONLY to the Jews. Mat 15:24 But he [Jesus] answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Jesus tells a gentile woman that he is NOT sent to the gentiles but ONLY to the Jews. The earthly ministry of Jesus was to save the Jews first. He was born to bring about the New Covenant for the Jews, so that they in turn could be the salvation for the Gentiles. Another scripture: Rom 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: Who is the circumcision? Israel of course. You ask, "Are you saying Jesus' teachings and commands were not written for our doctrines and practice?" I say, ...

If you preach Paul, you have missed it completely by abandoning Jesus

Image
DEVIATION OF TRUTH: Paul preached like me and you. He preached Christ crucified. He preached repentance and remission of sins. He pointed people to Jesus. Therefore, Jesus is the pattern to follow not Paul. Paul healed and delivered people using Jesus' name. Christ is the focus. His teachings are what we should follow and apply. Paul clarified Jesus' sacrifice and related it the Old Testament atonement. His teachings can never override Jesus' teachings. If you preach Paul, you have missed it completely by abandoning Jesus to concentrate on Paul. You left the substance and pursued the shadow. I'm not saying Paul teachings are not to be followed but it shouldn't be the central focus. CORRECTION ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE: 1Ti_1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. Paul is the first to be saved into the grace dispensation...

If you willful sin, are you doomed to hell?

Image
QUESTION: If you willfully sin, you were either not born again in the first place or you have thrown out your faith to serve the devil, and the promise that we can know that we will be saved if we endure to the end. You can lose your salvation as we have already done by disobeying God's Commands. Like Adam, we have partaken of the Tree of Knowledge and broken God's law. Thus, now spiritually dead, and the reason we need the second spiritual awaking, ie: to be born again.  Any sin in a believer will bring about spiritual death if allowed to come to fruition where our names are blotted out of the lamb's book of life. The reason they are blotted out is because of disobedience to God's will in the first place. At the time of accepting God's offer of salvation, we are grafted into the tree again, because God is able to graft in the branches that are broken off if they repent. To be eventually saved we must remain in the true vine of Jesus Christ, and if in Christ we will...

Can one gain righteousness with God using sheer will power?

Image
QUESTION: I believe that repentance means a sincere change in heart, I believe that if you continue on sin after receiving the knowledge of truth there is no sacrifice left, and that’s passed present and future. You can pray every day for forgiveness and whilst you lessen it daily, if you die, you’ll go to heaven because your soul is pure because you repent daily, and you know you will so your forgiven. But I believe that, daily sins, greed, sloth, idolatry, envy, wrath, and willful deliberate sin, undeniably inserts a massive amount of guilt upon your spirit, in which cannot be released without repentance to Christ, and continuously doing it again after repentance without a change in your ways, is not sincere, and you are taking Christs forgiveness for your own earthly pleasure. That’s what I believe, and that’s what I will continue to believe, there is no justification for willful deliberate sin. it must be stopped, for the purification of your soul, and for your soul to remain s...

Why is the Old Testament not meant for us today?

Image
QUESTION: Please explain to me why the Old Testament is not meant for us. ANSWER: The Old Testament is a record of the history of Israel from Abraham to Christ. It documents God’s dealings with Israel as His chosen nation. The reason for all this history is to document the bloodline of Jesus Christ as the rightful heir and King of Israel, born out of the bloodline of Abraham and of the house of king David. Everything in the Old Testament is about Israel. All prophecy in the Bible belongs to Israel. All the blessings and all the curses belong to Israel. The law is given to Israel to separate and define them as God’s nation. We as Christians today study the Old Testament so that we can understand God’s full salvation plan for humanity. The Old Testament contains valuable information that we can learn to understand the whole counsel of God, but there is nothing in the Old Testament that pertains to our doctrine for today. We are not under the law today (Rom 6:14). We do not observe the Sa...
